ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT

Natasha Munro catches her long term boyfriend cheating, devastated she goes to her best friend Tink short for Tinkerbell. He's been her best buddy since both were bullied at school. They decide to pick somewhere at random to start afresh together. I loved how they did that it was hilarious. They both end up in Canada. Natasha is a teacher and has little trouble finding a job, neither does Tink he soon gets work at an Italian restaurant. So they are both set for their new start. Natasha soon meets Tudor North the dark and brooding Hollywood 'A' lister.
What can I say, this book is just brilliant. Everything about it just draws the reader in. The characters are wonderful, especially Tink he just about stole the show for me. There is plenty of romance and drama that make this a stellar read. But most of all it's written with such style and flair. I will definitely be reading the next book to see what happens next for Natasha and Tudor. Please note this does not end on a cliffhanger.

I'm not looking for the Great American Novel when I pick up a romantic comedy. They call it light reading for a reason. However, this novel is so silly it achieves a negative mass--if that's possible. I could not finish it. The opening scene has our heroine discovering her boyfriend of 3 years banging his secretary on their couch. She is understandably upset and packs her bags. Meanwhile, in the next room, the boyfriend just continues his rutting without shame. How is this funny? The rest of the book continues to be just as over the top. The characters are unrelateable and the comedy is farce. If you think it's hilarious to call your overweight best friend Wilbur, Sausage, My peppered slab of salami, my little Porky Pig.....Or if you are amused by calling your gay best friend "my fairy friend" repeatedly, this is the book for you.
I do not understand the 4 and 5 star ratings. This book is so bad it makes Shades of Grey look like War and Peace. So. Bad.

Disappointed

I read the first two books buy this author and absolutely loved them and quickly bought this book. What a disappointment. Characters were not good and I could not finish the book. Hopefully this author will go back to cool characters that people can relate to.
